Telenovelas and the like

Yeah, yeah. I know it's a bit funny and odd for me to watch these shows since I started watching US TV series during college. I started out with Smallville, then One Tree Hill. I even downloaded Beauty and the Geek and Grey's Anatomy even before it became popular here in the Philippines. But now, I'm watching all of these Filipino shows. Well, I know it's a bit baduy but there's nothing wrong with patronizing Filipino stuff, right? (defensive)


Anyway, there's this new show in the Philippines that's entitled "Sana Maulit Muli". Would you believe that there's a Wikipedia link for this? (see:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sana_Maulit_Muli). Amazing, isn't it? An even more cool thing with this is that Philip, Bert's friend was the writer of this show. It's true though that it resembles the movie If Only wherein Jennifer Love Hewitt stared in. Call me a sucker for these kinds of stories but I really like the cheesiness and the melodramatic plots of these shows. :)




Another show that I have been watching is Maging Sino Ka Man which stars Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, Anne Curtis and Sam Milby. (My baduy side is really show already...) Anyway, I haven't really started and ended the show but as soon as I didn't have that much thing to do and there were really no nice shows to watch, I ended up watching this show anyway. Although I still have to admit that sometimes I still get kind of confused about whatever happened to the characters in the past.


Another show that I also watch and am really entertained by this show. And I have to tell you a secret... I know that Bert also kind of enjoys watching this show. It's really funny. Takes out all the stress in your life away. Great script too because the characters that you once loved, you're going to hate and the you grow to love the characters that you started out hating. The girl who stars also in this show is really funny. Although she looks very young and she isn't THAT pretty, I have to hand it to her since she knows how to act very well. :)






There's this other show: "It started with a kiss". I was able to watch it only for once or twice but it's really funny too... Here's a sample of the first episode.
