My Dad had an Eye Operation Today

It was soo tiring. We left the house at around 11 am and we got back home at around 6pm. The operation lasted for a couple of hours instead of just one hour. I was soo tired. My mom was soo tired. In fact, this season has been really tiring for me. Waking up for simbang gabi every morning at 4:30 for the 5:30 mass. Although it's just inside the village, it just really takes me a lot of time for me to get ready for anything.

Anyway, Bert hasn't attended a signle simbang gabi mass yet. Since last year! But that's okay, I do understand where he's coming from. I just really hope that one of these days, he could go to mass with me - but I feel it's impossible already.

Tomorrow, I will be working from home. Actually, I really don't feel like working at all. I can't think. Also, I'm just soo tired. My dad can't drive me to work and I definitely can't drive myself to work. I can't even park. So there, I'd rather work from home nalang than be absent again. I just hope that the DSL won't put me down. It has this tendency of not working properly when I need it the most! :(

home alone with the parentals

i guess i'm the only only one who's here home alone tonight. it's my team's christmas party tonight and i didn't go. it's not really because of i don't feel weel well. i'm actually quite alright but then i just didn't want to go through all of the hassle of asking bert to pick me up in mandaluyong when he's coming all the way from commonwealth.

in addition to this, i didn't exactly have the greatest night last saturday - the HP christmas party. i thought it was going to be a great night. it started out quite alright but then weird cause my mom (again) started texting me such weird things such as what time will the thing end. and i told her precisely that it will end at 12:00. but then i had the feeling already that she wanted me to go home early. so i just told her that i'd go home and i didn't feel well.

when i got home, she got mad at me and told me that it was weird. she blamed everything on albert again and i hate it when she does that. and today, she's on it again. i'm really getting kind of tired of it already. i keep on praying to God to give me the strength and patience for it cause i know that she means well but everytime she does it, she hurts me because i do love Bert and I really don't want anyone looking down on him or putting him down because i know that he deserves the best and i do believe that he will pull through with everything.

With this, I"m confident that Bert will achieve this. I know that he will be able to buy a car by next year but then I also want to ensure this by helping him out and by making him save more to ensure that he will have enough money to pay the downpayment. Oh well. I don't know na what to do. I just really wish for the best.

Future Plans

Woohoo. After 3 looong days of training, I finally finished my ITIL training. ITIL is this certification thing in the best practices of training. I'm happy that it's over. It was kind of stressful. I felt like I was in school again but this time, I didn't know anyone. I had no teamate in the training which forced me to get to know people. Problem is, yeah, I know how they look like but I really don't know their name. So I'd be like... "Hey..." (shucks! I forgot their name...) Oh well, I guess that happens a lot.

Taking up ITIL I got to think about what I wanted to do in my life. In a way, yes, I do want to pursue my IT career. Yes, I do want to get certified in as much things that I can and in the hopes that one day, when I do retire, I'd teach in school (UA&P, hopefully...) I really want to go back to school and impart whatever I have learned in the industry. In a way, I think that when I was in college, I lacked professors who had contacts in the industry. They were really good professors though. The only thing is that they're young and right after studying, they decided to teach immediately.

I also wanted the same thing for me. I wanted to teach in school also that's why I was thinking about going back to masters. Speaking of masters, I also want get a masteral degree if I can. I'm just thinking of when I could get it. I'm soo swamped with things that I have to pay for and things to do that's why I don't think I'd ever really get the chance to take it.

I'm thinking if ever I do retire, would I still have time to go back to school? Or would I be too old then? Also, I'm thinking about priorities. What should I prioritize now? Building a life for the future or the future of my career? These are two different things - both for my development but which one should I deal with first? My life or my career? I hope I could do both though. Simultaneously I mean. But that would definitely tire me out.

Moving forward, I'm still having problems... I really should coin a term about it. It's not the relationship. It's outside of it. Weird. I just feel soo much pressure sometimes. I'd like to please both parties. Prove to them that everything is fine that they should be content. Also, I'd want to help him out without pushing him soo much. However, I feel like I have been pushing him soo much. That just really makes me sad.

I never imagined myself to be like this. I know I'm not like this. I wonder why I changed. If change is good then the feeling should be good. But I don't know why I feel soo awful about it.

When it rains, it pours

I really got touched about what Bert wrote in Xanga. I thought things are mellowing down again. I was actually kind of hopeful about that. However, everytime things would seem a little better, something always has to happen. Like for instance now, my mom told me that he could go to the house already and then the starting of the car has to happen when I was in a super rush to go home.

I was in a super rush to go home because 1.) the main reason why I told my mom (actually, asked permission to my mom) if Albert could bring his car was the storm. I was thinking of going home early today. If not for those 3 criticals that opened, I would've gone home early. 2.) cause I had a critical ticket opened and I had to connect again when I get home. I am super ashamed with tim and puy cause they didn't go home because of the critical and i had to go home cause my mom and my grandmother were bugging me to go home.

Yes, I do get their point especially that it's raining and we really have to get home already but then again what they don't get is work. We are in a very different line of work. Since it's a global thing, we don't only think about what's happening in the Philippines. If it's Asia, we care about what's going on in Asia as a whole. So if the Philippines is obscure because of the f*cking typhoon, Asia doesn't care. Asia will still have to do business. Moreover, when you're in EMEA, more likely, you won't care about what's happening in Asia.

I don't get it why they can't put it also in their heads that work right now is terrible. It's not as if the only thing we do is file papers and fix stuff. We do more than that. More complex things that require us to use our dying brains and little left brain cells. The timings. Duh! Month f*cking end? It's the 30th so I guess it's closing. DUH!

I'm sorry. I'm just really mad right now. Not only at my mom for having to blame every single thing on Bert. Even the time that I go home, the critical tickets that I have. I just find it soo unfair.

I'm also a little mad at Bert. Well, maybe not mad but disappointed because of the car thing. I know that he wasn't expecting that to happen too. I don't blame him or anything. I just want things to be perfect. Clean slate. No wrinkles. But when I look back, I always see a mishap and I don't get it. I don't get how we - as a couple - can be so unfortunate. Sometimes I wonder, are these signs that we're really not meant to be together?

I really don't want to think about it. Believe me. It's the last thing that I wan't to believe in. Actually, if I do believe in that it's only tantamount to saying that my parents are right because I really don't agree with them as well. They were wrong about Bert not finding a job and they could be wrong about this too. Take Note: I used could because I'm not sure about that as well. I want myself to be right. But I have to prove it to myself as well.

Now, my heart is beating like crazy. I think it's stress. I think I'm going to die young. Good for me. At least I won't have to suffer much longer. Actually, I would prefer it if I die young. Stress from the house. Stress from work. Stress from my relationship. (c'mon, there's no stress free relationship... if someone says his/her relationship is stress-free... that's complete B*LL SH*T!)

so there, pray for me whoever reads this cause I need all the prayers I could get.

My Weekend.

It was a terrible weekend. I didn't get to see Albert. Soo sad. I had to pretend that he had an off-site somewhere in Laguna so that there was a reason for him not to be around during the dog show.

In a way, I really don't want him to see my mom. Well, not right now. I know that she does not approve of him - she made it very clear this weekend. So, I'd rather that they won't see each other. I think it's better this way. We have our own little thing away from them.

Yes, it is quite sad. I never really thought that my relationship would be this way. But it is. I want things to work out though. I really hope they would. However, everything is still uncertain now. Well, even if it was not the case right now, it still would be uncertain.

The thing is, I've learned something from One Tree Hill (damn my addiction!) but it actually made sense... "Stop looking for reasons not to be with someone because you'll always find a reason. Instead, look at the good qualities or traits that a person has." I should definitely drop this line to my mother since she always finds something wrong in everything. The thing is, there will always be something wrong since nobody is perfect. Even if we marry off the richest guy in the whole world, there's still something wrong. A family screw up or something. On the other hand, if it's good family background that they are looking for, it could be the financial stability. It's always one or the other.

Honestly speaking, I'm really tired of all these shit already. Can you believe that she got mad at me for being quiet when she was saying stuff about Albert? How does she want me to react? Be happy and all? For Christ's sake... I'm together with the guy. Gunning him down just guns me down too. I just hate it.

Sometimes, I want out already. Away from everything that is bothering me. Making me worry. Yep, I do worry a lot. Every single moment of every single day, I worry. The only reason why I worry is because I care. I care a lot about this relationship that's why I'm here and worrying.

Sisters forever

When I read Maxie's blog, I got kind of touched since she picked a topic that is soo close to my heart and because of that I'm pretty sensitive about it. It's about sisters. Being sisters with someone is really hard, I'm not sure about having a brother though but I think since girls are more emotional then it's tougher to deal with having a sister.

Before, when I was younger, I hated having a sister because I had to do soo many things. It was always me who had to do work. Whenever my mom would ask her to do something, she'd ask me to do those things instead. With this, my mom got used to me being the one doing errands all the time.

Also, since my sister had a history of being "notorious" I had to be the older one who would watch on her and keep tabs to my mom. That was really tiring for a 13-year-old kid. I felt like I could not enjoy my life. I felt like I was doing things because my sister was there. More importantly, I thought that I was losing my friends because of the things that my sister was doing.

Many years after, things were not that hard on me anymore. I was able to live my life but of course still under the scrutiny of my parents. Due consider was given to my sister and a lot of comparisons were made. I could not live my life because there was always... "Your sister was never like that..."

As obedient as I am, I still felt that I was not good enough. She was also up there and I'm always just here. I always had the feeling that I will never be enough and that I will never live up to her.

Even the college that I had to go to, it was all because my sister was there. I really wanted to go to Ateneo and experience campus life but then since my sister was already in UA&P, and my dad was the one bringing us to school.

But at least, I did not take the same course. However, right now, I kind of still feel the same cause my mom would always say something nice about IMC and would kind of belittle IT.

What I truly, truly hate right now is that my mom keeps on insisting that I'm jealous of my sister. Because she was more popular, guys liked her more. I have to admit that in a way, I was, when I was little but when I realized that those were not the things that I liked, then I was not jealous anymore.

Up until now, she would say something really off about my relationship with my sister and it really hurts me because it's just a validation of the fact that she does not know who her daughters are.

*****

The Truth

So, what is the truth about my relationship with my sister? It's the fact that I love her soo much and that as much as possible I hope that she would come home and help me through everything. Yes, I do not agree with A LOT of what she did and said but I know that deep down inside she just said and did those because she was emotionally provoked.

I do not want my sister to come back so that I would be the angel of the family again. Of course not! I'm not that mean. I'm okay with still being the outcast of the family. Actually, right now, because of what's happening to me, the more I understand her (but it does not mean that I agree with her decision). Yes, I don't agree but I do respect her since I know that she also uses her head.

Our relationship will never be perfect. I don't think there's a perfect relationship in this world. But I know that past hurts that I felt will still always be there but that would not affect my relationship with my sister. One proof? No matter how many times she kind of betrayed me or got me in trouble with my parents, I still trust her. I still tell her things that I know if she would tell anyone would get me in trouble again.

But then, I still trust her. She's my sister. If I can't trust her, who else can I trust in this world?

Here I Am

Here I am
I’m too shy to show you my vulnerable side
I'm too near to make it clear – emotional suicide
Is this love im thinking of? I know that
Close the latch I can't attach, im sure that
Here I am, I can't give you anything
Here I stand, I can't turn away
Here I am, don’t want to cause you pain
Here I stand, alone and on my own again
Can’t connect, I haven’t slept, am I crazy?
Fall so deep and I can't sleep, im slipping into hazy
Want to share but its not there, and tell me why
Laugh too loud, no tears to cry
And I really want to cry
Here I am, I can't give you anything
Here I stand, I can't turn away
Here I am, don’t want to cause you pain
Here I stand, alone and on my own again
Here I am
Here I stand On my own again

********

I remember what my Kuya Robert said about liking songs without really realizing the meaning of the song. That time he liked a Maroon 5 song, I can't really remember what it was. And then I heard this song again. The first time I heard it was when I watched the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and I liked it immediately. It's just today that I really took time out to read the lyrics of the song.

Although I'm not alone cause I know that I've got Bert on my back. I can't help but feel that in a way I am alone cause I try to cushion everything before it falls on him. I really don't want to hurt him with everything that I am going through and honestly, I've been going through a lot of things lately. Soo much things that sometimes I just want to take my hands off things cause I know that no matter how much I want to control them, I just can't.

Well, here I go... Here I am...

I uploaded pics from my phone

First of all, my pics...This may look a little vain though but i do have the habit of taking my picture after i have dressed up.

my cousin, charisse and me. she has been like a sister to me these past few months that my sister hasn't been here. However, instead of someone teaching me stuff, i have to inturn be the one to teach her things since i'm older. it actually puts a lot of pressure on my part. pressure in the sense that i always have to do the right thing, which is pretty much not the the case now.

my love. who has always been with me through thick and thin. in good times and in bad times. when he is bald and i have thinning hair. haha.. :P

my officemates. the people who drive me crazy nowadays.

These are the circles that I revolve in right now.

Some people are running scared

Well, that's me. I'd have to admit. I'm back here blogging at this page since I'm running away from everything. I'm also back to watching one of my favorite shows before One Tree Hill. Weird. But I feel like I'm singe once again. Everything that I used to do when I was single, I have been doing that today. Can you believe that I'm even playing computer? Weird, weird. But true. My life is turning back to how it used to be.

Anyway, it's going to be my birthday again this Friday. I'm going to be 23 already. I think there's something about this age that's not good. I remember when Bert turned 23 last year, it was like he was not that happy to be 23. I really can't remember why. Maybe it was because I fought him? Hehe. Well, I have been fighting Bert for his past 2 Birthdays. This year was about priorities. Last year, I can't remember anymore.

I have been out out the whole day. We had lunch in healthy shabu-shabu in podium. I remember, last year for my birthday, my friends from yehey and I celebrated it also in mini shabu-shabu. I really wonder if my birthday will be as happy as it was before. But if you ask me, I really don't think my birthday will be as happy. Though I will take the day off, I will be spending it with my family. The day after that will be my tita's birthday and we will be celebrating it in Mall of Asia (which is soo far). Then on Sunday, we will be going to 168. I really don't know when I'm going to spend time with Bert. I really want to, though. I just don't know.

Jay J's with YEHEY! people

May 8, 2006 – Monday

Happy 4th month anniversary to us! Seems like forever though. Even Marie says so. She said it seems as though we’ve been together for a longer time already. I have to agree. But honestly, the things that we go through… Aren’t the things that normal 4-month-old couples go through. Or am I wrong. He said that the first few months are usually the best months, why isn’t this the case for us? Our relationship seems soo topsy-turvy ever since I can remember. Oh well… I guess nothing’s perfect. Not one relationship is.

Here’s a little note from him:

Hi Baby! Happy Anniv! J

I hope that when you open your planner and see this, you’ll smile. I love you! J Mwah!

B

And guess what? I did smile. J He’s probably the only reason that I’m smiling right now. I’ve just been through soo much in this last couple of months that sometimes, I think of giving up. Just giving up and handing it over to i-don’t-know-who. If there was one person who’s consistently bugging me to hold on and be strong, it’s him. And for that, I really do thank him. J

WORK:

Work’s still the same. Still the same old thing. I was able to get my laptop already this week. My dad was also able to set up wi-fi in the house so maybe I should utilize that instead of using the desktop! Katherine dela Torre (one of our admin assistant) is supposed to be on maternity leave but somehow, she was still able to send Bert the HP thing. I really do hope Bert gets an interview with HP, even if it’s in a different department. I hope that he gets in HP. Somehow, I think that would make things easier for us.

My dad also asked me to send the resume of Bert to his friend at Standard Chartered. Anyway, I’m sure Bert will find his own thing. I’m sure of it. And I’m sure it will be soon.

May 9, 2006 – Tuesday

Had a one-on-one with EJ (my team leader). I told him that I wanted to be more of a client-SPOC (Single Point of Contact). I really am not that technical, well, I can be if I want to but that’s just boring. Process is also fine but there’s something in me that makes me want to meet other people and interact with them. I really am excited about my career in HP. I hope that all works well.

APBTA:

This is just soo messed up. I even can’t believe I’m a part of this. No organization whatsoever. Everything’s done in a rush. Kind of a hassle actually. If it weren’t for my parents, I wouldn’t be part of it. They were the ones who told me that I should take over since my sister was not with us anymore. And knowing my parents, you really can’t decline. So there. I, once again, found myself in something that I don’t really like. I mean, yeah, it’s okay but my passion just isn’t there. I like dogs. I love my dogs. But I’m not THAT into them.

May 10, 2006 – Wednesday

Got our salaries already! Thanks goodness! I was soo broke. I’ve never been broke in my life. That’s actually and exaggeration. I’m not broke but I’m just surviving. Which usually isn’t the case, cause usually, I have something more. A little extra that would get me by. Weird how the world works. The more you earn, the more money you need.

WORK:

I had a call in the evening from 9-11. That was a really bad call. I didn’t even understand a single thing that they were saying. I was soo sleepy that I couldn’t concentrate on what they were saying. The night before, I couldn’t sleep because of something. I was really raring and daring to go undertime yesterday but I couldn’t because I had soo much things to do.

May 11, 2006 – Thursday

It was all about trainings last Thursday. We had that Change Management Overview and the Technology Training. It was actually pretty tiring since I wasn’t able to have enough sleep from the night before.

May 12, 2006 – Friday

I didn’t set up people in EGN anymore because I didn’t want to hear of any complaints anymore. I sent them the schedule then it’s up to them to figure out who’s going to be the DM next week.

There was an Origins screening but since I was “busy” or better yet… not in the mood. I ditched it.

APBTA:

The long awaited papers of Rommel came. We were supposed to have a meeting with APBTA but since a lot of people couldn’t make it, Rommel cancelled.

WORK:

I had to list down all of the reports used for MSA and SRAP. I still haven’t been able to update the SharePoint.

Anyway, I had drinks with the YEHEY! Peeps. I miss them soo much! I miss the laughter and the nonsense. And the fun. That night was not really a great night. Kevin said something really off. Bert had to leave. I got tipsy. I had to leave. Cried all night long til 1 am. And I’m still not feeling any better now. It’s all good. I still got to hang with my friends. Oh well… That’s my life for you.

Pictures from last night:

Last weekend was realy crazy

Last weekend was crazy.

That I have to say. But seriotusly speaking, things have been going a bit wacko every now and then and I really don’t know why? There must be something in the air or maybe I’m getting to that point in my life where it’s not all that happy, happy, joy, joy. I don’t know. Maybe reality is just hitting really hard on me. So hard that it made me dumbfounded.

Anyway, this whole week, we had the training with Kat for FAA/PCC. It’s a lot easier actually than MSA/SRAP. Maybe because I did study it already in college and it was one of those things that I really, truly understood and something that I kind of practice every now and then. I actually like accounting. Weird, ey? But I have an inclination to that subject. It’s all soo organized and written down and precise. You can’t go wrong with numbers or with listing things down. Some people may find it boring but I actually wouldn’t have minded if I took accounting back in college. I’d be a great accountant! Everything down to the letter.

Anyway, we had an “Easter Egg Hunt” at the office last Monday. Imagine there were 6 eggs in the entire floor and all of them were hidden in the Ayala Side, duh?!?! HELLO?!?! That’s what I call unfair! I overheard someone say that we, our team, will have our very own Easter Egg Hunt at the office on Friday. After DTR, but I seriously, seriously doubt if I’ll be able to join the fun since I have training with Kat and also a BW Overview with Ron.

About the EGN Owner, well, I have absolutely no update about that. I just got the revised DM Sched from EJ today. Will probably send it on Friday. I have to consult Deng with that.

As for Bert, well he had an Accenture interview last Monday and that was in the morning! OMG right? I mean, if it were me, I’d probably be really, really late cause I’m lazy in the morning. Imagine, I get up at every morning and I get to work at what or other people would probably need to wake up at to arrive in the office at that time.

He also got a call for American Express, Innove (which he had to reschedule for Security Bank), Security Bank (not really thanks to my dad but I believe he had a hand in the processing of his application), Noypips (which really sounds awful but I’d like to believe it’s an okay company) and Asiatrust or Chinatrust (sometimes, Bert can be deaf…hehe…kidding…). Keep ‘em coming! I’m really happy for him… I hope he finds the one that is truly meant for him! J

Donna and EJ were in training since Monday so it’s really difficult for us to get in touch with them. I need some things from them because I’m currently installing again everything to my re-SEWPed laptop. It’s soo hard if they’re not there! So hard to consult and shit.

Funny in my Starbucks Planner, I have this note for April 18:

For YEHEY!

- 1x1 ID

- Cedula

- X-ray Results

(with a question) Will I still be at YEHEY?

Obviously, I’m not and I’m quite happy about it! Sad in a way, but generally really happy that I’m out of there. It’s been a little hard. Not seeing Bert everyday. Not being able to actually connect with anyone (cause nobody was from UA&P, so basically they don’t know where I’m coming from or who I’m talking about). I miss Nannah and Carla, which reminds me… I’m thinking of setting up Nannah to one of my friends, but I’m still thinking about it. I also miss Chadi and Maan. The grown up talks. The future talks. The nonsense topics. The lunchtimes wherein we’d all complain about being stressed, bored, tired, sleepy and sometimes just keep quiet. Food in Pasto, Lasa. Starbucks Podium during lunch. (I had to specify that cause I still do Starbucks on the weekends.. teehee!). The occasional Breton, Congo (I still remember the time when I got my second call from HP in Congo with the girls and the Bert… I also remember that it was that weekend when Maan told Laz that I was going to resign already so come Monday, he wasn’t at all surprised… hehe…). I miss the food also in Café Med and Banana Leaf. Even Delifrance and Subway. Oh… How can I forget Pinoydon! J The food in Ortigas is WAAAY better than the food in Makati. People in Makati just don’t realize what they’re missing…

Back to work, back to reality. I can’t believe how many stuff I have to follow up. Omega, Time Tracker synchronizing, DM sched…

This week has just been swamped with things to do and trainings. Good thing the Managing Customer Relationships training was cancelled! Shoot! I forgot to get my ID from the 34th floor. L Anyway, my long awaited ID which was made in Singapore (whatever!) has finally arrived. I look ugly there… eww!

i got to post the pics already but i wasn't able to write anything here. anyway, that night was a really fun night. i'm soo glad that compared to my high school friends, i still get to hang out with my college friends. i actually miss them soo much. i miss the fact that our only troubles back them was how to pass an exam, or how to be able to cope with all the projects and assignments that were required of us. it was a lot simpler back then. right now, we all have to think ahead.
think of what's going to happen next to us. weird. a lot of people say that we're young, we should live our lives, but somehow, sometimes, i feel as though we don't have time to make mistakes (contrary to what crist told me ). as much as i'd like to believe cris, i feel the opposite.
monday. had the new employees' orientation at dominican republic. it was quite overwhelming actually. all those benefits that you can actually avail of. if you maximize them all, you're going to be lucky. i wish i can. and i wish that it's in this company that i really grow. that it's in this company where i'll trully find myself and my passion. i've been looking for that for all of my life... the one thing that would keep me going. the one thing that i would be good at. i hope that it's here. well if not, then the search will begin again. the problem with the search: it gets downright tiring to the point that you'd want to stay wherever you are because you're just plain and simple tired.
wednesday. that marked a new month of the chinese calendar. it says here that i'll have double the fun this month. true? not quite really but i'd really like to believe this. last month wasn't all that bad but it wasn't that good either. maybe there's just something really wrong with me because i don't get contented easily. i just wish i had simple joys. small things would make me happy. buy as much as i'd hate to admit it, people always want something more even if they get what they want. i really do hope that i get to feel content already so that i stop searching and wanting more. looking for something that might not even be there.
by the way, we were also given our training plans. a sort of a guide that we have to follow for our supposedly growth in the company. cool huh? i really do wish that i do grow here. that i will achieve soo much here.
carla and nannah also visited me in hp. cool, huh? i miss those girlies soo much! we must go out!
thursday. had training for MSA-SRAP which was cut once gain by the dual maintenance training. i don't get it why our training for MSA-SRAP is always disrupted by something?
friday. we were supposed to have a BW overview with ron but since it was an "abuso" day, going back to the office at 3pm hence making ron log in really late, he told us that he would just reschedule the training.
saturday. happy third month to us! we're actually surviving everything. woohoo! people might not actually believe it but i think we've gone through a lot of issues. so many issues at such an early age. i just hope that we'd be able to surpass every single one of them.
it was also the birthday party of andie the daughter of deedee. i can't believe i'm actually attending children's party already as an adult and get this... the daughter of my friend not a cousin or a family member. are we getting that old?
sunday. palm sunday/day of valor. unfair... we shouldn't have work today!
monday. sweldo day! YEHEY! i got my first pay check from HP! deng also passed to me the egn owner position. i attended my very first RPM class. my mom bought the TV today. got to hang with nans in starbucks podium. saw donald in starbucks, too. found out from tom that elaine only found out today that bert and i are together. duh?

Pictures From Last Week's Dog Show

last week's show was fun but a bit tiring. kudos to phoebe cause she won BIS and was crowned NPTC CH already at such a young age. i know that tien felt a bit pissed cause fireball didn't win but it's okay, maybe it's not his time yet. next show, good luck to him and i hope that they make it next time.
i started my new job last monday. i was a bit lost last monday cause my team leader, EJ wasn't there. he worked at home. good thing kay was there. she was really very accomodating and i got to know the team. they were all so nice to me. i'm just a bit sad cause supposedly, last monday, we were supposed to go to bora already and bert could've been there with us but since they wanted me to start immediately on march 20, then the bora trip was set on hold. i wonder when we could go to bora again? i hope that time, bert will be with us already.
we had the APBTA meeting last tuesday, i was hella, hella tired already. good thing, this week, we won't have an APBTA meeting at my place cause we're going to have some visitors. although, i'm excited of the whole APBTA thing, i'm jsut scared that i won't be able to be very active in it cause work is really going to be tiring. if i were still in yehey, maybe i could be more efficient in it. but being in yehey also meant not being able to grow, both career-wise and personally. it's true. no matter how fun yehey was, it was like a black whole sucking people in and making people comfortable and scared to find out what's really going on in the world.
i had an accounting and SAP training last wednesday at cuba. how cool can it get huh? all of the rooms in HP are named after countries. so last wednesday, we were at cuba. thursday we were at the dominican republic. sounds, fun? NOT! it was really tiring and i think i had information overload and i really, really felt overwhelmed by all the infos that were given to us. to this day, i still don't know what exactly i'll be doing.
friday was supposedly the YEHEY! launch but then i know that they moved it to april 1. i will check what YEHEY would look like on april 1. i really do hope that this time, they would make it and they would make it big. sometimes, i still feel bad about leaving yehey at such a crucial point but then opportunity will only come knocking on your door once and when it does, you just really have to grab it immediately.
Friday at the office was pretty dull. i really didn't do anything the whole day. it was the the usual DTR (daily ticket review) and deng explained to use new hires what was it all about. we had lunch in salt and pepper, which only made me miss pasto and lasa even more because the food was totall NOT good. i can't believe a restaurant can actually offer tasteless food. eew. gross. but it was fun because we were with the whole team so it was like one big table of 20. those are the kinds of things i think YEHEY misses. we really don't have that much teamwork there. yeah we do, in writing but in spirit, it was to each is own.
saturday, well it was the same old thing gym. no shopping however cause i have to save up money to open an account in metrobank for the car loan. hassle. the seniors of UAP-IT also had their trensic at club Q. i don't think any of our batchmates went but i really do hope that their trensic was as fun as ours!

IT get together at dencios

i'm really glad i met up with my friends that night at dencios in metrowalk. that wasn't exactly a very great day for me. that was my last day in yehey! i know that i am happy that i got that HP job especially that eversince 3rd year college, when chippy was in HP, i have dreamt of working there someday. i never really knew that one day, that would become a reality. funny how you dream about things and in turn, you get scared of them. like how i am right now. i'm uber scared to death. i'm scared of what the future will bring. whatever it may be, i just really hope that it would be for the best.

that day in YEHEY! consisted of my first time ever in coffee bean in emerald. it was a really nice place. hopefully, that wouldn't be my first and last time there. the manager even gave me a free raspberry cheesecake. oh what luck huh? also, i'm glad that in my last day in YEHEY! somebody sent something in customer care. something really nice about funny pages. the page that i brought back to life. the page that made people smile and laugh. i'm really glad that the guy loved the variety of articles and the jokes that i post. at least someone appreciates what i do! at least somewhere out there, i was able to make someone laugh and smile.

it wasn't all smiles and laughter at YEHEY! though. i cried and i cried a lot when kix was asking about the set up in the future. well, i really don't know.. all i'm hoping for right now is that everything will workout and that everything will fall into place. i really hope so. i know that things will be soo different from how it is now but i just wish that some things would still remain the same. like how i am. how we are. i hope it won't put too much stress in the family also and in my relationship. i also hope that it won't make my health suffer cause that's one thing about me. i get soo weak sometimes that i get sick because of stress.

anyway, i'm talking to grace right now. i miss that girl soo much. she's working for chamberlain research consultants as a marketing research analyst. honestly, i'm really happy at how we all turned out. who would've thought that when we started out in college, we'd reach this far. this was nothing we really planned or dreamt about. we knew we were just going to school for the sake of finishing our college degree and look where we are now? all successful and shit. and hopefully, above all that... i hope that everyone's content and happy with everything that have and have accomplished. but really, it's too soon to tell. we're all soo young. so, who knows what the future will bring, right?

the person i will miss the most in YEHEY! and the last time i will ever wear that nice jacket in the office...

bora pictures

Day 1

The plane ride was fine. I thought I was going to have a hear time with the ascent and the descent of the plane. The boat ride was also fun although water was going inside the boat. Hanging out under the sun was amazing. Having a massage by the beach was even more heavenly. The food at the hotel and during dinner that day was great. All the different kinds of seafoods and new ways of going about the dish, it was simply delicious. Walked around also that night and checking out the things that the island has to offer kind of tired us all. So we want back to the hotel and I fell asleep immediately.
Day 2

Day 2 was really bad. In the morning, there was a conference which didn't allow us to hangout at the beach. Probably the only interesting thing there was seeing the chef model of the chowking commercials. the day at the beach wasn't all the fun too especially if f*cking *sshole was pissing you off. i really hate the freaking guy. i haven't done it in a long time but i did it that day and i totally told him off. what an *ss! that night there was an "entertainment" night by the beach where the food was great again and my dad and my sister were awarded for the FSC thing. after dinner, i met up with marie, ai, dex and jox. we ended up swimming in the pool while jox was asleep. at least, my day ended well.
Day 3

it was goodbye to the fabulous hotel room. the boat ride back to caticlan and the road trip to the airport. while manila was going crazy with all the rallies, we were soo far away from it all. although i wanted to go back badly because of all the things i left behind, i'm still looking forward to going back (especially with bert). cause maybe that trip will be a lot better than this one.
